This event is open to the public. So get your day planner, organizer, colored pens/pencils, and salted caramel lattes (that’s what Boss Babes drink right?!) and get ready! We will learn the Boss Basics of Business Start Ups:

• Make a business plan 
  
• Get training and counseling
  
• Choose a location 
  
• Secure funding 
  
• Decide on a business structure (sole proprietorship, partnership, corporation or nonprofit)
  
• Choose a name and register it with the Secretary of State
  
• Hire a CPA or accountant to help you with taxes
  
• Obtain necessary licenses and permits 
  
• Be compliant with key federal and state regulations 
  
• Contact the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA)
